Upcoming Events New Officers For 2004-2005 Listed Below in the purple box. Alumni Association of Pilot Dog Convention June 18-19-20th 2004 in The Friendly City of Fairmont, WV Several Lions clubs will be participating. Rivesville Lions will be hosting the Saturday night "Hoedown". Craft/Food Sale - 9 am-4 pm at the Rivesville Community Building Next Fall Craft Sale will be October 2004 October 25th, 2004- District Governor - Steve Beecroft and Lion Jamesie's visit. SUNDAY - May 2nd, 2004 - Annual Steak Dinner at the Rivesville Community Building - Noon - 3:00 pm - This enables us to purchase eyeglasses for the needy and support our local youth projects. 2004 - Steak Dinners will be May 2 and Oct. 31st We have serveral projects planned for next year. If you would like to "give something back" to your community. Consider joining the Lions club. We provide eye exams, and eyeglasses. We sponsor youth projects such as sandbox for our headstart, Peace poster contest, Easter egg hunt; sponsored a youth to the international games in Australia, sponsored a youth for the Miss Teen USA, dress an "Angel" at Christmastime and so MUCH MORE.
